Richard William St. Denis, affectionately known as Dick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 23rd, 2023, in London, Ontario. Born on July 30th, 1938, in Tilbury, Ontario, to Louis and Marjorie St. Denis. Dick lived a full and loving life, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and a warm heart that touched the lives of many.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Em, and their daughter Trudy (Michael). He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Wendy. Dick was a proud grandfather to Kyle (Heather) and a doting great-grandfather to Ayden. He is also survived by his sisters Penny and Shelley and predeceased by his brother Harry. Dick will be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law Charlie (Lynn), Robert (Nancy), and the late Don (Linda), as well as his Aunt Marion and many nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Dick was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family. He took great pride in his career, and his commitment to hard work was a value he instilled in his children and grandchildren. Dick's love for his family was evident in the time and energy he devoted to them, always making sure they were well taken care of and supported.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Clipperton Cemetery on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, at 3:00 PM for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Dick's spirit will live on through the many lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
