WALLACE, Ruth Laurene, formerly of Embro passed away peacefully at her home in the Maples Nursing Home, Tavistock, in her 101st year. Ruth is predeceased by her parents Joe and Mariah “Mattie” Winger, her beloved husband Charles Wesley Wallace (1994), and her son Barry (2012). Loving mother of John (Linda) of London and Daughter-in-law Lynn of Embro. Ruth will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Darren, Clay, Brad, Owen, Robin, and Kelly & their families, Including 17 great-grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her sisters and their husbands: Mildred (Jack) Wallace, Bessie (Floyd) Erb, Myrtle Winger, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Victor (Reta) Wallace, Harry (Jean) Wallace, Mary (Bill) Warnock, and Doris (Don) Hossack. A private family graveside service will be held at the North Embro Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Knox United Church, Embro, would be greatly appreciated and may be arranged through Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford (519-285-2427) Expressions of sympathy may be given at www.brockandvisser.com
