Scott Eaton Obituary

EATON,  Scott Charles – Passed away at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday September 4, 2022 in his 54th year. Beloved husband of Tammy (nee Cannon) Eaton for over 39 years. Loving father of Chaz Eaton and Keelie Eaton (Ben Todd). Dear brother of Shirley Eaton, Rhona (Tom) McIntosh, Becky Jones-Eaton, and Jamie (Alexis) Jones-Eaton. Cherished stepson of Norma Eaton. Scott will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by his father Leonard J. Eaton and by his mother Eileen (Don) Finley. Scott was born on November 12th, 1968.  He grew up in Woodstock until the age of ten and then his family decided to relocate to Embro. Since then Scott has always shown great pride in being an Embro boy and proved that through his years of service at the Community Centre. Scott always enjoyed pitching in fastball, playing hockey, snowmobiling, relaxing in the shop to some good tunes and being close and involved with those he loved. Scott was a free-spirited man and often times those who knew him would say he was indescribable. He loved hard, laughed loud and had a smile so bright it could light an entire room. Scott touched the lives of so many people and will be dearly missed.  Friends and family are invited to join and celebrate Scott’s life at (Jonesy’s Shop) 435385 43rd Line, Embro on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Scott believed so much in the advancement of medicinal marijuana research, please consider your charitable contributions to the Michael G. DeGroote Medical Marijuana Research at McMaster University, Hamilton. As well Scott believed in the well being of the mind and the difficulties of addiction, so you may also choose a donation to Alcoholics Anonymous. Both of these organizations and your expression of sympathy may be accessed or given through Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004 or at http://www.brockandvisser.com/
