SUTHERLAND,  Shirley C. – Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday February 19, 2021 in her91st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Sutherland ( 2006 ). Dear mother of Brenda (Tony) Verkuyl. Loving grandmother of Kate (Dennis) Sterkenberg and their family Megan, Emma and Braeden. Mark (Sara) Verkuyl and their family; Eden, Calvin and Wesley. Susan (Ryan) Langille and their family Clara and Cole. Ken (Cindy) Verkuyl and their family Luka and Ellie. Alexandra (Jacob) Weninger. Predeceased by her parents William and Annie (nee Ingram) McDonald, brothers; Lorne, Murray, William, Jackie, and Ray McDonald and by her sisters; Doris, Beatrice, Verla and Cora. Shirley was a longtime member at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, Woodstock. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday February 25, 2021 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm (Visitors are required to RSVP to attend visitation on the funeral home website, spaces are limited). A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:30pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Harrington Cemetery.
