February 12, 1927 ~ January 17, 2023 (age 95) 95 Years Old

Stella Greenfield Obituary

Passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023 at 95 years of age, at the Woodstock Hospital. Stella is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her husband Allen, and her parents Sophie and William Hanchiruk, siblings Mary Moleroff (Mike), Olga Tottle (James), John Hanchiruk (Florence), and Rosie Thomson (Russel).

She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Stella grew up knowing hard work on the Gobles family tobacco farm, and later on the dairy farm with her husband in Embro.

She always kept a beautiful home and garden. Euchre and bowling were favourite pastimes. Stella loved to cook for her extended family and treated her nieces and nephews like her own children.

She was a member of the Embro United Church and UCW, the Zorra Rebekah Lodge, and Embro Fair Board.

She enjoyed travelling the world with friends and family.

Cremation has taken place. A Private Celebration of Life will occur at a later date
