HILHORST, Theodorus “Ted” – Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday, November 20th, 2020 in his 95th year. He is survived by brothers Gerry (Sharon, Julia, Joanne & Mike, Bob & Nancy) and Tony (Adeline & Jim, Marianne & Pat, Linda & Mark, Cindy & Neil, David & Nancy) in Canada and siblings Tonia, Grada, Geurt, Annie & Jan, Johan & Annie and Doortje & Piet in Holland. Ted was born in Holland on Wednesday, December 30th, 1925 and was 1 of 16 children. Joining his brothers Bill, Gerry and Tony already in Canada, Ted immigrated in 1956 with the dream of owning his own farm. Ted loved farming. He enjoyed his daily survey of the farm on his gator and sharing a whiskey, beer or wine with family, good friends and neighbours. In keeping with Ted’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private burial being held at a later date. Personal online condolences and stories may be placed and viewed at www.brockandvisser.com
