Thérèse Blain

Thérèse Marie Annette Blain (née Aubin) – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 14, 2022 in her 96th year. She was born May 7, 1927 in Hull Quebec the 3rd oldest of seven children. Beloved wife of over 61 years to the late Joseph Valmire Aimé Blain (2017). Lovingly remembered by her children Isabelle (Glen) Shenton, Marie (Ray) McDonald, Robert Blain, Giselle (Glenn) Moss, and son-in-law Don Allen. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of JeanPierre and Desneiges. Predeceased by her daughter Priscilla (2015) and brother Roland and sisters Reina, Germaine, and Simone. A visitation will occur Monday June 20th between 1pm and 2pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004). A funeral liturgy will be held in the funeral home’s chapel at 2pm. Interment and reception will immediately follow. For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed through the funeral home’s website (www.brockandvisser.com). If desired, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
