Obituary

TOD, John Donald “Don” – Passed away peacefully at Woodstock hospital on Thursday, August 27th, 2021 in his 81st year. Beloved son of the late Burnetta and Douglas Tod. Dear brother to Wayne (Myrtle) Tod, Bill (Jane) Tod, Mark Tod, Carol (Werner) Peters and Bonnie (John) Elson. Predeceased by his brothers Allan (Jackie) and Brian and sister Merlaine Langille. Don will always be remembered by his several nieces and nephews. Don was a lover of camping and touring with his trailer. He also enjoyed his short-wave radio. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family Monday, August 30th, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire ave., Woodstock. A memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel following the visitation. Interment will follow at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. (Due to COVID-19, guests are kindly asked to RSVP in advance at the funeral home website).  If desired, memorial contributions to The Alzheimer’s Society, The Parkinson Society or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home. Expressions of love and sympathy may be placed and viewed online at www.brockandvisser.com.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Caressant Care Retirement Home and palliative care unit at the Woodstock Hospital for all of their support.
