All public health officials agree that the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to follow typical flu precautions. These include the following:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer (sanitizers available throughout the funeral home)
- Sneeze and cough into your sleeve
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth
- Avoid contact with people who are sick
- Stay home if you are sick
If you are attending a service at the funeral home, we do ask that you do your best to continue to practice social distancing and limit any forms of physical contact. This includes shaking hands, hugging, and kissing.
We are being extra diligent in keeping up with the complete disinfection and sanitation of our facilities, especially in areas most frequently visited by our guests. Furthermore, please note that the CDC has assured us there is currently no known risk directly related to being in the same room as the body of someone who died of COVID-19 while attending a funeral or visitation.
In brief, the health and safety of our families and staff are our number one priority during this time and we are doing our very best to keep up with the most recent procedures and protocols recommended by health professionals with regard to COVID-19.
STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY - WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS
