Frederick "Fred" Gordon Murphy

MURPHY, Frederick Gordon-  Passed away peacefully on  Sunday January 31st,  2021 at  Woodingford Lodge Woodstock.  Fred G. Murphy of Woodstock in his 90th year.  Beloved husband of the late Joan A. Murphy (nee Allen)(2010)   Loved father  of Lori (Paul) Botelho, Sharon (Adam) Michalski, Wayne (Aprile Nash) Murphy and, Mike (Michelle) Murphy.  Cherished grandfather of Aaron and Owen Botelho; Meagan (Devon) Young and Marcus (Elyse) Michalski; Brynn and Halle Murphy.  Proud great grandfather of Quinn.  Dear brother of Ivan (Pat) Murphy, and Don (late Helen) Murphy.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brother Lloyd (Jean) Murphy, and Marie Beaton.   Fred was an avid hockey and car enthusiast as well as a closet Maple Leafs fan.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions a memorial service will be held in the future .  If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock (519-539-0004).
