James "Jim" Robert Walton

Walton, James Robert “Jim” – Passed away suddenly on Monday, October 19, 2020 in his 72nd year.  Beloved husband of Bonnie Walton (nee DesChamp) and loved father of Ken and his wife Tara.  Cherished son of Mary Walton (late Lorne). Loving grandpa to Emmett and Spencer.  Dear brother of David Walton (Dawn), Elizabeth Elliott (Nigel), Kathryn Walton (Henry Veenstra), Robert Walton (Karen), Tom Walton (Emily), and brother-in-law of Ken and Karin DesChamp, Robert and Wendy DesChamp, Patricia des Champs, Diane Stiles, Lois Walton, and Gordon and Anne Stinson.  Jim is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was a lifelong member of Christ Church Huntingford and loved the town of Embro where he was a leader and dedicated volunteer in many community and agricultural groups.  His warm smile and even warmer hugs will be missed by many. Friends are invited to meet with the family at a "Drive Through Visitation" on Sunday, October 25th, 2020 from 1-4 pm at Waltview Farms, 476083 Zorra- East Zorra Tavistock Line, Embro.  In honour of Jim's generosity and compassion for helping all, donations to Operation Sharing - Food for Friends and the Salvation Army - Food Bank will be accepted at this time.
