Les Goodall Obituary

GOODALL,  Leslie “Les” F. – Passed away peacefully at his home with the love of his family by his side on Wednesday September 9, 2020 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Lois (nee Fewster) Goodall for over 58 years. Loving father of Jeffrey, Kathryn (Michael) deWeerd, Gregory, Steven (Mark) and James. Cherished grandfather of Sam, Maggie, Carlie, Ryan, Mackenzie, Amanda, Courtney, Jacob and great grandfather of Abby and Lilly. Dear brother of Leila Halleyburton, late Harriet Neill, late Bill Goodall, Donna Merry and brother-in-law of Bob (Cathie) Fewster.  Les was a past employee of Mutual Life Insurance. He was a long-time active member of Oxford Masonic Lodge # 76 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Woodstock Valley, Mocha Temple Shriners, Eastern Star Khaki Chapter # 27, an Elder of College Ave. Church Woodstock and the Woodstock Probus Club. Les was an avid gardener and grandfather. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and in the garden getting his hands dirty. When the harvest came, sharing the bounty was always something to be expected with family and friends.  A time of visitation will take place at College Ave. Church, Woodstock on Sunday September 13, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. A private family service will follow. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the College Ave. Church Memorial Fund, The Masonic CHIP Program or the Canadian Food Grains Bank would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock 519-539-0004.
