Rhea Katherine Becker, Passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, in her 82nd year, in her hometown of Woodstock, Ontario—the same place where her story began on December 10, 1942. A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rhea's warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone around her.
Rhea's life was one of commitment and passion, both to her family and her work. She was a dedicated employee at the Sentinel Review, where her diligence and warm personality made her not just a colleague but a friend to many.
Rhea's love for her family was unparalleled. She is survived by her children, Deb Featherstone (Dave), Thomas Neill (Carolyn), Terri Becker, Debbie Reeves (Rob Agar), and Dawn Hellowell (Darrell), as well as her sister Elaine Becker and brother Graham Becker (Mary). Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the values she instilled in them.
An avid knitter, Rhea's intricate creations were a testament to her patience and talent, pieces that her family will cherish forever. Her love for bird-watching reflected her appreciation for nature and the simple joys of life. These interests were more than hobbies; they were the ways in which she expressed her love and care, weaving warmth into every stitch and finding peace in the quiet company of nature.
A Celebration of Rhea’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 from 1pm to 4pm at the Salvation Army, 769 Juliana Drive, Woodstock. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Brock & Visser Funeral Home (519-539-0004).
