Schaefer, Rose (nee Halashewski) – Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care in Woodstock on Friday October 23rd, 2020 in her 92nd year. Loving wife of Willard for 71 years. Cherished mother of the late Don (Kathy) Schaefer, Dianne Spencer, and Cheryle Szypniewski. Caring grandmother of Lindsey, Lauren, Matthew; Erin, and Jamie. Proud great grandmother of Nixon, Charles, Olivia Rose, Reilly, Brayden, Liam, and Lennon. Dear sister of Mary, Jeannie, and Helen. Predeceased by her siblings Frank, Stella, and Olga. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 from 6-8 PM at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. A private Funeral Service will be taking place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
